The Cursed Maiden

After being transformed into a mouse a charming thief seeks refuge in the home of a young maiden who is cursed to live alone without memory of who she is or who is keeping her from leaving.

This is a story written by my dear friend from college Cullen Johnson, and is part of a larger short film project!

The influence behind the 19 illustrations in this book came of course from the works of Mike Mignola, films like Pan’s Labyrinth and Jim Henson’s The Storyteller, and the aesthetic atmosphere of the writing itself.
