My Hometown: a letter to a friend from back home

In this children’s book a boy named Opie writes a letter to a friend from back home about his teacher who just can’t understand were the boy is from. This book is written for kids who are growing up away from where they were born and have trouble answering the question “So, where are you from?” The message at the heart of the book is that no one is from no where and where you're from does not have to fit in a neat one word answer. So, feel free to ramble about where you're from as long as you like and meet Opie a boy who does just that!
