THE OPOSSUM POSSE
The Opossum Posse is a ragtag group of animal misfits that live in a post apocalyptic world were animals repeat history long after the history of mankind met it’s mysterious end. This project was started by a picture that I came across online of a highland cow, a rooster, a goat, a sheep, and a llama with the caption “the only gang I want to join.” I came across this picture after a trip to Arizona and decided to create the characters using archetypes from westerns.

Now the question became why does the “Opossum Posse” not have an opossum in it? It is because their name does not come from one of their members but from their legendary hunt for the infamous “Opossum gang.”
With all of the actors chosen it was time to set them loose. I chose to do this by placing them in the narratives of songs that I could picture playing in the backgrounds of their dramatic scenes.
