The Cardboard gallery

I love art that tells a story through the materials it’s made from. This is a collection of pieces created over the years using cardboard and mixed media. The stories they tell are about me growing up as an artist in Greater Cincinnati.

This piece was drawn over the course of a few weeks at BLOC Coffee, and an overlook of the beautiful Cincinnati skyline down the street from the coffee shop.

This piece is of the Mcpherson house on Illif Ave. The Mcpherson house was part of BLOC ministries after school program that I was blessed to intern with in 2024. BLOC is an amazing group of passionate people that make a difference everyday in Price Hill Cincinnati.

This was the piece that started my love of drawing on cardboard. This mixed media pastel drawing is of the desk in my room that I would study drawing and painting at as a high school student.

I created this piece in high school nostalgic for “Andrew’s Pond” where my family used to go fishing.
